Here's whats happening in 409…
Tomorrow, May 2nd, students will take their end of the year Level Set in Achieve 3000. Their final 6th grade lexile levels should be available and shared with students by the end of the day. The goal is 925L.
6th grade T-shirt size order form – Although money is not due until May 10th, we need your child’s size NOW in order to get the order started for the shirts. We want to have the shirts ready for the kids as soon as possible.
RSVP for VAPA Showcase & Dance – This was sent home today. Anyone who brings it back tomorrow will not have Thursday night homework! If your child is not attending the VAPA Showcase & Dance, please send a note saying so.

The information below is a duplicate of information posted on the Camarena School blog. PTA will be providing snacks for all students to eat during a break from testing. Your child can bring in a different healthy snack if he/she would like.
We will be assessing from 8:30-10:45. Lunch will be at regular time 10:45-11:30. If the majority of the class has not finished the daily section of the test, we will continue assessing after lunch.
On Thursday, May 2 at 4:00 pm,Dr. McLaren is holding a meeting in the MPR for parents of all 6th grade students to discuss behavior and work ethic expectations and end of year activities.

There was a mistake on the permission slips. I inadvertently flip flopped the dates for the Living Coast Discovery Center & Exercise the Dream @ CV Elite Athlete Training Center. All dates on the calendar sent home are correct. The dates highlighted below show be flipped.
